I had talked to them about that. And what I remember is that they told me that they'd wait. They asked me to try one more time. I remember that. I can't forget that. So I told them I would. That's how they decided to pay for my college. I was really worried about that. About my tuition, you know. My family couldn't afford it. When I told them, they said I should've told them earlier. That they'd have helped had I told them sooner. I stopped working out right after that.

"On the first day after the surgery, I couldn't move my arm.
It was paralyzed after the anesthesia. After I came out of it, I woke up, and my left arm didn't move. I thought maybe it was not a good sign. But it started to move after
the anesthesia wore off. I'm not in the hospital now. Isn't this too good to be a hospital?
I was discharged a while ago. Next Monday would be three weeks after the surgery. At this point... I can't hold anything with my left hand. My joints here, and here as well, are all stiff.
So it's tough. Do I sleep well? For about two weeks after the surgery... It's been a little over two weeks now. It was so hard for me to sleep for about two weeks. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping on either side of my body.
I can't sleep on my left side, of course. But if I change to my right side, that's also super uncomfortable. I got used to it now, though.
I do need physical therapy..I have to do it. I really want to get back to work as quickly as possible. I really wanted to avoid surgery as much as possible. But because of the repeated injuries... I was mentally and physically tired.
I'll eventually turn in my 30s and 40s. And if I don't take good care of myself now, I thought I would suffer a lot more later on. Even more so since this is a ligament. I could see that it was torn on the MRI scan. But when they did an endoscope... on my joint, it wasn't just one spot.
So they stitched up all of the torn spots. I know all too well that I should avoid surgery if I can. So I had been getting shots regularly at the clinic that I always go to. I had also been doing physical theraphy.
But the shots... Usually, you don't get the shots too often. You don't have to get them too often. But I had to get one every 2-3 weeks. Some people have also said, "All you need is physical therapy".
Because the labrum is torn, if this is my shoulder bone, it was not properly fixed. It kept moving around. So I had a lot of inflammation naturally.
Even during concert tours, I'd get shots overseas during our tour. That's what I was going through. I had gotten so many shots. I can't use the arm well for a couple of days after the shot, too. This wasn't even predictable, but I had to get shots all too often.
So... A 500ml bottle would be about this big, right? I couldn't hold it with my left hand. If I had accidentally slept on my left side, that meant I couldn't use my arm the whole day. It was a repeating thing. At four hospitals out of the four hospitals I went to, three recommended that I should get surgery.
I have to wear the aid for two months. It's hard when you get sick. I know because I had appendix surgery. When I look back on the appendectomy, that was some tough times, too. Before the surgery this time, I asked the doctor if this would hurt more than an appendectomy. The doctor was like, "Hmm, I would say that the appendectomy is worse". In terms of the pain, the appendix surgery was worse. But the inconvenience afterward, I can't even begin to describe it.
In my case, it was a reverse Bankart tear. The posterior. That's where it was torn. It's not common, the reverse Bankart.
It's because of the accident. I have three scars. After the surgery, they show you the endoscope. That was a weird experience. They said it would've gotten much worse had I not received the surgery.
These days, because of COVID-19, visitors are not allowed at hospitals. I could only have one visitor in my room. So... From the office, our manager, the director, came. And the staff had to take turns coming in.
Normally, I'd have an official schedule every day. I really enjoy going to work every day. There are people I see all the time. Our staff, and people that I always see. They are like coworkers to me.
I guess... There are a lot of staff at the office. I'd say hi to them as I begin my day. It was like a routine for me.
Do you get how I feel? I had the appendectomy in 2013 and back then, I had a fever of about 40 degrees celsius. It was so unrealistic that my condition got so bad in such a short period. So I was laughing while I was being transferred to a hospital. It's not because I'm happy that I laugh, but because I can't believe how sick I am."

"El primer día después de la cirugía, no pude mover el brazo. Quedó paralizado tras la anestesia. Después de que salí de allí, me desperté y mi brazo izquierdo no se movió. Pensé que tal vez no era una buena señal. Pero empezó a moverse después de que el efecto de la anestesia desapareció. Ahora no estoy en el hospital. ¿No es esto demasiado bueno para ser un hospital?
Me dieron de alta hace un tiempo. El próximo lunes serían tres semanas después de la cirugía. En este punto... no puedo sostener nada con mi mano izquierda. Mis articulaciones aquí, y aquí también, están todas rígidas.
Entonces es difícil. ¿Duermo bien? Durante unas dos semanas después de la cirugía... Han pasado un poco más de dos semanas. Era tan dificil para mi dormir durante unas dos semanas. No me sentí cómodo durmiendo en ningún lado de mi cuerpo.
No puedo dormir sobre mi lado izquierdo, por supuesto. Pero si cambio a mi lado derecho, eso también es muy incómodo. Sin embargo, ahora me acostumbré.
Necesito fisioterapia... tengo que hacerlo. Tengo muchas ganas de volver al trabajo lo antes posible. Tenía muchas ganas de evitar la cirugía tanto como fuera posible. Pero debido a las repetidas lesiones... estaba mental y físicamente cansado.
Eventualmente cumpliré 30 y 40 años. Y si no me cuido bien ahora, pensé que sufriría mucho más más adelante. Más aún porque se trata de un ligamento. Pude ver que estaba roto en la resonancia magnética. Pero cuando me hicieron la endoscopia... en mi articulación, no era solo un punto.
Entonces cosieron todos los puntos rotos. Sé muy bien que podía evitar la cirugía si podía. Así que recibía inyecciones con regularidad en la clínica a la que siempre voy. También había estado haciendo terapia física.
Pero las inyecciones... Por lo general, no recibes las inyecciones con demasiada frecuencia. No es necesario que las reciba con demasiada frecuencia. Pero tuve que ponerme una cada 2-3 semanas. Algunas personas también me habían dicho: "Todo lo que necesitas es fisioterapia".
Debido a que el labrum estaba desgarrado, el hueso de mi hombro no se posicionaba correctamente. Seguia moviéndose. Así que tuve mucha inflamación de forma natural.
Incluso durante las giras de conciertos, me ponían inyecciones en el extranjero durante nuestra gira. Eso es por lo que estaba pasando. Había recibido tantas inyecciones. No podía usar bien el brazo durante un par de días después de una inyección. Esto ni siquiera era predecible, pero tenía que recibir inyecciones con demasiada frecuencia.
Así que.. una botella de 500ml sería así de grande, ¿verdad? No podía sostenerla con mi mano izquierda. < br />
Si dormía accidentalmente sobre mi lado izquierdo, eso significaba que no podía usar mi brazo en todo el día. Fue algo que se repitió.
En cuatro hospitales de los cuatro hospitales a los que fui, tres recomendaron que me operaran.
Tengo que usar el inmovilizador de brazo durante dos meses. Es difícil cuando te enfermas. Lo sé porque me operaron el apéndice.
