BTS was "probably" at their apartment in the luxurious Hannam The Hill residential complex when they found out that they had been nominated for the Grammy Awards.
The BTS members uploaded a video of their reaction to the moment they found out about their Grammys nomination to their official Twitter account.
When the announcement of the nominations was made, it was early morning in Korea.
In the video, Taehyung (V), Jungkook, RM, and Jimin can be seen sitting on a sofa while watching the announcement of the nominations.
J-Hope later said in an interview with Corden that he was sleeping and that is why he does not appear in the Twitter video. J-Hope said that when he woke up he cried.
Jin also did not watch the live broadcast announcement because he was sleeping. Jin said," I woke up and went out to schedule. I tried to open the car door and listen to the members, but I found out that I was nominated by people saying 'Congratulations, Seokjin-ssi'.
Suga, who is recovering from shoulder surgery, said on Weverse hours after the announcement of the Grammy nominees:
"I can't believe I fell asleep while waiting (for the nominations) because I was tired from physical therapy .. TT TT TT TT This is a new reason for me to be even more motivated to work harder on my therapy and get better as soon as possible. Thank you ARMY !! Let's enjoy today ~ "

J-Hope dijo más tarde en una entrevista con James Corden para The Late Late Show que estaba durmiendo y por eso no apareció en el video de Twitter. J-Hope dijo que cuando se despertó lloró.
J-Hope luego comentó en el Vlive del 25 de noviembre de 2020:
"En realidad, dormí (durante la transmisión en vivo). Dormí temprano porque tenía algo agendado a las 7 am".
Jin tampoco vio el anuncio de la transmisión en vivo porque estaba durmiendo. Jin dijo: "Me desperté y salí a trabajar. Traté de abrir la puerta del auto y escuchar a los miembros, pero me enteré que fui nominado por personas que decían 'Felicitaciones, Seokjin-ssi'".
Suga, quien se está recuperando de una cirugía de hombro, dijo en Weverse horas después del anuncio de los nominados al Grammy:
