JIMIN: "It was really shocking! I moved into the dorm in May 2012, about 1 year after V. On the first day, I went to his room to greet him and dressed red boxers lying on the bed! I got anxious thinking I had reached an unbelievable place. (laughs) "

JIMIN: "That night, at V's suggestion, the three of us with Jungkook, we all slept tangled in the living room. I'm shy around strangers, so I felt uncomfortable, but V approached me with an open mind, so I felt immediately relaxed. I had a good time"

JIMIN:" As soon as we got to school, V introduced me to the teachers and his friends. I am grateful (for that)."

V: "During recess, you were alone in the back of the classroom, playing with your phone, right? I was shocked so I got mad at my friends and said, "why are you not talking to my friend?" Then my friend replied: "I spoke for 20 minutes, but Jiminie only answered my questions, he was quiet and I stopped talking..."."How shy you are around strangers ~"

JIMIN: "I was worried that they would laugh at my Busan dialect..."

V: "Surprisingly, the dialects are popular among the Seoul kids. But I didn't tell them that I was from Daegu (laughs)."

V: "Any other memories from high school?"

JIMIN: "Snacking every day with V. Back then, I didn't have to be on a diet, so I ate about 6 meals a day. During lunchtime, we bought and ate snacks and ramen at the school's snack bar, we also regularly went to a restaurant near the school. Ah, that was youth (laughs)."

Jin; Once after school, I went to the practice room and spotted a new friend. He suddenly came over to me and started dancing while rubbing his body on me. (laughs) That friend was V. (V: I didn’t volunteer to dance, it’s just that another trainee hyung told me “The eldest hyung is going to be coming later. Show your charms then. Make a first impression that he’ll remember.” As soon as Jin hyung came, I got embarrassed so I kept dancing while looking down. During spring 2012, my middle school dance teacher contacted me so I auditioned and got accepted, then I decided to go to Seoul in May. The first member I met was Hobi hyung. Hyung welcomed me and said, “let’s work hard together!” Other members also came to talk to me, it just reminded me of the time when I arrived, I went to eat with everyone in the canteen. The happiest moment during the trainee life was when we eat and play together. I still have the amusement park ticket that we went together, I still carry that around in my wallet. It’s because it was the first time and first place that all of our members went together to play. So, it’s engraved on my memory. I’ve been carrying that ticket for about 5 years.

RM: I remember when I first met you. When you came with your father to our dorm with big eyes, busy legs, and your puckered lips, I knew at once.

That you'd be a rascal. I also remember how you were anxious before our debut. Your unique character and strangeness got me puzzled at times. So I wondered what aspect of yours helped you to bear everything at times.

But as time went by and my hair started to grow out, I realized that even me, who I thought was the norm, is also a strange a puzzling guy. And I was drawn by your uniqueness.

And I was envious at times. Because you easily befriend people and everyone likes you. You have shown everyone that your strangeness is actually your unique charm.

You might say this makes you cringe, but since you started out at a trainee, I want to say I'm grateful to you as a friend and older member.

Thanks for not becoming a farmer or playing the saxophone and coming to us to complete BTS.

JUNGKOOK: Do you remember the time we first met? When the hoobae trainees were visiting the sunbae trainees to see how they practice, both of us were in the same group.

JIN: When I was observing (the sunbaes), Jungkook came in. At the time, I thought “this kid is cute, with his perfectly round, googly eyes.” But now it has turned out like this (laughs).

JUNGKOOK: What do you mean? (laughs) Before I came to Seoul, I haven’t seen many handsome guys, so when I saw Jin hyung, I thought “oh handsome people like this really exists in the world”. I was purely impressed.

JUNGKOOK: ¿Recuerdas cuando nos conocimos? Cuando los aprendices hoobaes estaban visitando a los aprendices sunbaes para ver cómo practicaban, ambos estábamos en el mismo grupo.
