Anyways, after gwamegi time, we went back to our night practice, and after we probably went to the gym and finally, we went back to our dorm, took a shower, and fell asleep right after. But suddenly around 2-3AM in the morning,I just woke up. Like my stomach wasn't feeling well and my head was throbbing, and I was just so sick. So at first I thought maybe I just had an upset stomach from eating too quickly cause it just hurt too much. I crawled down from the bed to go the the washroom, and when I stood up, literally the walls were spinning. So like in movies or a dramas, characters feel dizzy and suddenly collapse. And I felt like i was just like the movie character 'Oh my god.. This is real' So I almost lost my balance, but since it was midnight, other members were in sound asleep, so I walked quietly to the washroom. As soon as I get there, ummm.. I started puking so much. Like there were nothing left inside anymore, to the point where I started retching and I was like 'Am I gonna die like this..?' And at the end, I was puking something like yellowy acid. Anyways, the actual problem was when I was puking I couldn't control my body. Then someone knock on the door! And the voice was Yoongi knocking on the door. And he said, 'Yo, Are you okay Jihoon?' So I was like, 'oh my god.. Im actually gonna die Yoongi' And he was like 'you should go to the hospital', and I said Isn't it closed already?' As you well know, we moved our office. So I freshly decorated this studio. I think I have never introduced my studio properly. So today's live is for that. RM and SUGA have had their own studios since a long time ago.
My first studio was a very small one. Compared to others. It was initially a BANGTAN ROOM. I got to use that BANGTAN ROOM as my studio. I think it was around that time that I had my own studio. From then on I used the room as a studio. And when our office moved again, I had a new studio. And we moved our office again and made this studio which is here, the Hope World. It's not been completed yet.
This studio is a space that expresses myself. There are some figurines the I have been collecting. As RM has so many of them. My figurines are relatively small in number. So figurines that I've been collecting are placed one by one. Some of them are from our member. There are a lot of presents from our fans.
That's how the Hope World was made.
My songs, tracks on our albums, my parts or the melodies of our tracks will be made here. I work here a lot here for a new album. I'm trying my best. I felt attached to my previous studio because it's where "Hope World" was made.

Este estudio es un espacio que me expresa. Hay algunas figuras que he estado coleccionando. Como RM tiene muchas de ellas. Mis figurillas son relativamente pocas. I was aware of that so I went back to the dormitory earlier than I’ve planned. J-Hope looks bright, likes to joke around and he’s pretty delicate? In another word, he’s vulnerable to stress. He suffered from stress-induced enteritis, so I often took him to the hospital to get an injection.」

When I was in 1st grade of high school, I came up to Seoul in August to start my trainee life while studied in an arts high school in Seoul. When I moved in, there were Jungkookie, Suga hyung, J-Hope hyung and Rap Mon hyung. I’m not shy with strangers so we got close straight away. I was happy that I became a trainee, so I was happy every day. However, we had a lot of practices. I couldn’t spend my days like an ordinary high school student but I tried to make memories in the dormitory and practice rooms. I still remember the day 1st of January, when the 7 of us went to the amusement park together. Everyone wanted to look cool so we all wore black clothes. And we stood out so much (laughs). For your information, my fashion has always been coordinated with the clothes that my grandmother bought me. My grandmother has great fashion sense, so she has always been good at choosing clothes for me.
Even after our debut was set, I was hidden until the end as I was the secret weapon (of the group). Because of that, I was upset that I couldn’t even tell people that I was debuting soon. The other members all had schedules but I just rested in the dormitory. So, I was really happy when they revealed me. I was happy that “my dream since 6th grade of primary school has finally came true!” BTS is my first and last group of my life. I want to move up together with our members and reach a high place until the end. I want to reach a high place, look back all the things we did so far and be able to say, “we have worked hard to get here.” If there’s a chance, I would like to act too, but it wouldn’t be great if I’m not ready to act, right? I want to study acting properly, if I think I’m ready then I want to give it a go.

Cuando estaba en primer grado de la escuela secundaria, vine a Seúl en agosto para comenzar mi vida de aprendiz mientras estudiaba en una escuela secundaria de artes en Seúl. RM: I remember when I first met you. When you came with your father to our dorm with big eyes, busy legs, and your puckered lips, I knew at once.
That you'd be a rascal. I also remember how you were anxious before our debut. Your unique character and strangeness got me puzzled at times. So I wondered what aspect of yours helped you to bear everything at times.
But as time went by and my hair started to grow out, I realized that even me, who I thought was the norm, is also a strange a puzzling guy. And I was drawn by your uniqueness.
And I was envious at times. Because you easily befriend people and everyone likes you. You have shown everyone that your strangeness is actually your unique charm.

Q: How’s the dormitory life? 7 boys living together doesn’t seem like something easy.
A: It wasn’t easy at first. We’ve been living in a different environment for nearly 20 years and then we have to live together in one place, it’s obvious going to be difficult. We made rules in the dormitory and we talked to each other if there were any problems and made a lot of adjustments. It’s fine now. Right before our debut, the lady that cleans our dormitory came and she helped us a lot. ^^

ㅡ Talking about sufferings from dancing, when you guys were trainees, Rap Monster, did you ran away because the dance practice was stressful?
RAP MONSTER: 「Yes… (laughs). I have never danced like that before. My brain gets it but my body couldn’t follow the moves so it was very stressful. One day, I really hated it so I fled back home but my father persuaded me. So at the end, I went back to the dormitory in 3 hours (laughs). I’m still suffering but the stress wasn’t as bad as back then.」
SUGA: 「Me too. Once I said that I’m quitting and went home. But my family were jeering at me and they persuaded so I went back to the dormitory and then went to practice (laughs).」
ㅡ You guys seems mature with the charisma and skills you show off on stage, but the youngest member is still 16 years old! Let’s talk about your real images.
J-HOPE: 「There are two “mothers” within BTS, I’m in charge of organizing and Jin-ssi is in charge of cooking.」
JIMIN: 「The “mother"’s work is being subdivided. J-Hope-ssi takes good care of people and nags a lot~ (laughs). When the room gets messy, he will complain while cleaning up. But still, he doesn’t know who made the mess everyday.」
J-HOPE: 「Even when I say 『come out, whoever made the mess!』 no one comes out (laughs).」
V: 「Jin-ssi can cook really well. And Suga is a hidden genius.」

ㅡ Have you made any promise with the fans or the company such as moving dormitory after gaining the rookie award or 1st place on music shows?
J-HOPE: 「We don’t have any but shall we make one now?」

SUGA: 「Many of us are from the provinces and we can only go home twice a year on the Lunar New Year and Chuseok, so it would be great if we have the opportunity to see our family.」
RAP MONSTER: 「Getting the rookie award is our goal for this year. And we want to become the group that represents the hip hop idols and stand at the top!」

When I signed my contract with the company. After my parents left I talked with them on the phone and I cried in my room.

Q10: A happening that made you cry recently?
Since I decided not to cry on our debut showcase or on the first broadcasts, the day of the debut showcase, in the afternoon, the team members who I grew up and developed with were crying… so in the end I was lured and my tears fell so I panicked (laughs).

When I’m on the top bunk and watch animations, the members stare at me as if saying “That…addict.” But after Jin hyung came into the dorm, I learned that we had a lot of the same hobbies. Hyung has a clean and prince-like feeling to him but he actually really likes animations, just like me. (Jin: Being clean and liking animations don’t link with each other!) These days whenever there’s a new animation, we talk about watching it together.

The members tell me that there’s a big gap from me on stage and off-stage. (Suga: On stage, he wears sunglasses and has a powerful image but he actually likes cute things. He keeps the <Pocket Monster> ball he received at a fansign on his bed.) I have a habit of singing loudly at night in the dorm. I always sing so I never thought that it’d affect the members. I realized that after a while but the members never said anything - probably because I’m the leader and I was the first member in the dorm. (laughs) I think I’ve improved by 7, 80% now.
J-Hope: I received commissioned education in Gwangju after signing a contract with my company. I thought 'They’re so cool. There are these type of people at my company.’ after Rap Monster and Suga hyung were revealed. I moved to the dorm in December but there was a really big difference. My hopeful fantasy of trainee life shattered. (laughs) I got a lot of prizes in Gwangju for my dancing. I won an underground dance battle and even performed at a festival. (V: I can confirm this. While enrolling at Korea Arts School, there were lots of trainees coming from different districts. When I debuted with Bangtan, my friends asked me “J-Hope hyung, is he the one from that dance academy in Gwangju?” That’s how famous he was.) Before debuting, the members and I always did midnight dance practices. Me, Jimin, and Jungkook would often take lead and practice at midnight or sometimes even 1 or 2 am, practicing for two hours each time. First we practice the basics, then move onto details

Q) I heard that you spend 24 hours together at the dorm. Are there any fun or memorable episodes?
Jin: This happened recently. We all sleep at different times but according to the other members, I talk in my sleep a lot.
Suga: Hope-y and I were awake together but we were tired so we were about to sleep when Jin hyung started singing “좋아요” (Like). (laughs) I thought we must practice really hard [for him to even sing in his sleep]. Turns out, it was just him talking in his sleep. After that I thought, “Ah. That hyung practices even in his sleep. Of course.”
Jin: I usually sleep really quietly but I think talking in my sleep is a new habit.
Rap Monster: I recently had a dream set in a hotel. I was sleeping but the door opened and someone chased after me with a knife. I opened the window and jumped out and woke up. I wondered how close we were sleeping to make me have such a dream. (laughs)
Jin: We eat lots of fruit with our meals. Because of this, we have a lot of fruit flies. Each fly creates about 4-50 more flies so we can’t control them. We tried to spray something but couldn’t because of the dishes. In the end, Jungkook got rid of them with a vacuum cleaner.
Rap Monster: Wow. That’s skill. (laughs)
Jin: So because of that, a lot of them have disappeared. Only about 10 of the original 50 are left now. (laughs)
Jimin: After my midnight practice ended and I had come out of the shower, someone was using the vacuum cleaner. (laughs)
Jungkook: We don’t have any insecticide in our dorm and even if we did, we wouldn’t be able to spray it because of the dishes so I looked around, spotted the vacuum cleaner, and thought “Ah, this is it.”…(laughs)
Q) Do you all have something you’re in charge of in the dorm?
Rap Monster: I’m in charge of breaking things. Everything I touch breaks, so this desk here could break right now also. (laughs) The glasses I wear sometimes break also. Because of that, my nickname is “God of Destruction”
Suga: I’m in charge of fixing the things that Rap Monster breaks. I change the lightbulbs, fix the toilet, or re-attach doorknobs…I do a lot of that kind of stuff. (laughs)
Jin: I’m in charge of the kitchen. When we come back from grocery shopping, the members just dump the stuff we bought anywhere and don’t put it in the fridge. So I put in all the food in the fridge and throw out old food. (laughs)
Q) What do you guys normally do?
All: We don’t do anything. (laughs)
Suga: In the morning we go to the broadcasting studio, perform, come back and practice, and produce all night. That’s all we do; it makes me want to make up things to have something else to tell you. (laughs)
P) Escuché que pasan 24 horas juntos en el dormitorio. ¿Hay episodios divertidos o memorables?
Jin: Esto sucedió recientemente. Todos dormimos en diferentes momentos, pero según los otros miembros, hablo mucho mientras duermo.

V: J-Hope hyung is always positive and he’s in charge of being tidy in the dormitory. He takes care of the dongsaengs and when he’s bored, he would eat all the snacks. When comes to foods, if you say ‘it looks delicious’, he wouldn’t give it to you and run away with it. And he doesn’t like it when his things are scattered around…
J-HOPE: Now is too much to handle.
V: Yesterday, I was going to sleep at 4 but J-Hope hyung was folding up the clothes alone. (Q: You’re still complimenting him right…? (everyone laughs))

Q: What made the relationship between you two well?
Rap Monster: Suga moved into my dorms after 3 months. Even though it was our first time meeting and suddenly living together, it’s a must that we get a long (laugh). There’s a park near our dorms and we would eat snacks while we chat about a lot. We chat about things like girlfriend from junior high… No doubt we are guys; we get close just by talking about girls (laughs).
Suga: (laughs) We not only talk about that. We also got a lot closer through music. We had monthly evaluations when we were trainees. At that time Rap Mon and I were in the same team writing songs. This was a very crucial matter.
Q. What made the relationship between the three of you well?
JIN: Jungkook and I arrived at the practice studio on the same day. The first day we felt a bit distant. Our relationship naturally became well after practicing and eating together. My relationship with V turned well when we found out we both like anime.
V: Yes, it was the most awkward with Jin hyung at first. It felt like Jin hyung wasn’t very close. I kept thinking about what I can do to improve our relationship. We found out the moment we both slept on the upper bunk. One day Jin hyung was watching anime in bed and I asked what he was watching. It turned out to be an anime I liked! I also like anime so we both started chatting about it. Jin hyung will let me borrow the ones I haven’t watched and would also recommend ones to me.
JIN: The animes of Mamoru Hosodo, Miyazaki, and other famous directors – I must watch two animes everyday. We would then discuss it together. We like it to this degree.
V: Also, we both like to search up good places to eat at. We often eat out. This is a very similar interest of ours. My relationship with Jungkook is like that of same-age friends.
JUNGKOOK: We originally were very in tune but our relationship suddenly turned well because we went for vocal training together.
V: Jungkook is a bit shy in the dorms. He only started letting loose after we got close. And therefore we no longer had any other concerns and everyone became close.
Q: If you had to make Jungkook happy within an hour, what would you do?
JIN: I will take Jungkook out to eat. There were several times when my parents and I took Jungkook out to eat. He eats so well when we take him to restaurants that Busan doesn’t have – I’m also very happy. I think we ate meat at a hotel right?
JUNGKOOK: It was super delicious!
V: I will act out skits with Jungkook. We usually start acting when we face each other. The topic will change according to the current situation. If it’s a sad (skit), I will suddenly drop down to my knees when I see Jungkook. And Jungkook will also kneel down…
Jin: That really does happen. I don’t participate and only watch on the side. I would go, “Ah, they’re starting again..” (laughs).
V: Sometimes we would deliberately act out romance skits face-to-face. Jungkook would go “da da da” and start singing his own BGM. We’ll also act when we’re eating. (Reenacted live: they were doing eating motions and suddenly stopped in the middle of reaching over to grab food, and raised their heads to face each other. They revealed their expressions of falling in love.) I just simply wanted to act it and only Jungkook naturally and slowly did it with me. I also did it a few times with Jimin but it didn’t go as smoothly as it does with Jungkook… (Jimin: I guess I still have learning to do.)
Q: If you had to make V happy within an hour, what would you do?
JUNGKOOK: I will show V hyung a funny performance. He’ll laugh within 20 seconds. Also doing the skits that hyung loves.
JIN: V and I are both foodies. We can eat deserts together for an hour. Even if I don’t do anything, the delicious deserts is enough to make him happy.
V: That’s right. Eating is happiness! Like I mentioned earlier, when we were trainees and after classes were over, Jin hyung and I would go out to eat. Others will immediately go home, but we both ate together everyday.

Q: Suga oppa said before that he steals Jungkook’s underwear. Was it successful at other times?
SUGA: It seemed like Jungkook became very careful after that so it wasn’t successful. Well, I also don’t steal Jungkook’s underwear everyday (laughs). I only borrow when I don’t have anymore to wear. I bought a few pairs now so I’m all set.
Q: It’s already been half a year since you debut. What has and has not changed in the past half a year?
RM: Everything has changed. Before everyone was normal and I think everyone became handsome now. I always wore gym/athletic clothes everyday and it felt like I was a bad student (laugh). What hasn’t changed is what the dorm is like. It’s exactly the same as before. We always fight over things like who gets to shower first, or who borrowed someone else’s things, or that the dorm is too dirty…
Q: Are there secrets that only the members know? ^—^?
RM: Hmm.. I think it has already all been disclosed before. Like whether we have birthmarks on our butts? That I know.. no (laughs) since we shower together.
J-HOPE: We shower together daily (laugh). There’s only one bathroom so pretty much two people would shower together. Sometimes even three would shower together. There’s really no secrets.
Q: Looks like the relationship within BTS is very good. Do you fight? If you do, what’s the reason?
RM: Things such as who ate the food someone else bought (laughs).
JIN: It’s not really to the degree of fighting.
RM: Who borrows clothes that someone just bought.. just little things like that. The borrowing of clothes problem happens occasionally. If someone says they really want to wear that piece of clothing, then we’ll still let him borrow it. Ah, but the clothes that we received as gifts from fans are definitely not lent out since they are exclusively the belongings of the members.
JUNGKOOK: I don’t have much social experience yet so when I want to joke around, I end up saying something I shouldn’t have. The hyungs would then lecture me.
Q: Which member looks the worst when sleeping?
JIMIN: I think #1 is V. He sleeps on the top bunk and it looks like he’s going to fall down. He also sleep talks.
J-HOPE: It scared me so much, so terrifying.
JIMIN: He’s a kid that likes to act so even his dreams are like a mini drama. He would say things like “Oohh wah, no way~!”
J-HOPE: I sleep with my arms up, Jungkook sleeps with his legs crossed and Rap Monster also has his unique way of sleeping.
RM: Yes, and I thought I would be #1. I also almost fell down from the top bunk before and I also snore.
Q: Hello Bangtan Boys （^_^）. Everyone’s personality has so many colors. Do you have any exclusive preferences in terms of eating and fashion?
JUNGKOOK: I like salty and spicy food. For clothes I like red and black. I only have those two colors in my closet.
JIN: If you open his closet, it’s like one side is all black and the other is all red. There really isn’t any other color besides these two (laughs).
JUNGKOOK: I also don’t understand why I like red so much but I also want to try different colors. It’s perhaps time for a change?!
Q: Tell us about your clothes when you sleep!
JIN: I must wear pajamas no matter where I am. I prepared summer and winter pajamas.
JUNGKOOK: I will choose loose clothings to sleep in. It’s usually short sleeves. I’ll take it off if it’s hot and if it’s cold, I’ll wear long sleeves and a hoodie.
SUGA: Although I like to sleep naked, I can’t since I live in the dorms. I wear a T-shirt and underwear.
RM: I also wear gym shirts and underwear. It’s more comfortable that way. I actually want to take off my shirt but my stomach isn’t well so I can easily catch a cold. I also only wear gym clothes in the winter. It’s usually warmer in the house and the blanket is also thick. I like the feeling of the blanket touching my skin.
J-HOPE: I’m different every day. I’ll only wear my underwear when I’m really tired. Usually it’s T-shirt and mid-length pants.
JIMIN: Vest and pants. It’s the most comfortable pairing.
V: I will consider it everyday when I sleep. Yesterday it was trousers and a white T-shirt. If I’m really tired and have no energy to think about it then I’ll just take it all off and sleep. Also, I sleep on the top bunk and sometimes it’s a pain to climb up and down. I usually sleep on Jimin’s bed, but Jimin….
JIMIN: After taking a shower I see V sleeping on my bed and I go, “Get out!” Then V will go to Jungkook’s bed. Then if Jungkook comes over….
V: Jungkook will wake me up and say, “Hyung, there’s no where for me to sleep. Go up.” But I’ll wait until Jungkook falls alseep and I’ll go back to his bed and sleep beside him. He’ll get angry and say, “Ah~ hyung! Hurry go up and sleep!” I can only say, “Ok, ok, I know, I know” and then go back up to my own bed.

P: ¿Qué hizo bien la relación entre ustedes dos?
Rap Monster: Suga se mudó al dormitorio después de 3 meses. A pesar de que era la primera vez que nos veíamos, de repente vivíamos juntos, es imprescindible que nos llevemos bien (risas). Hay un parque cerca de nuestro dormitorio y comíamos bocadillos mientras charlamos mucho. Charlamos sobre cosas como la novia de la secundaria… Sin duda somos chicos; nos acercamos solo hablando de chicas (risas).
Suga: (risas) No solo hablamos de eso. También nos acercamos mucho más a través de la música. Tuvimos evaluaciones mensuales cuando éramos aprendices. En ese momento, Rap Mon y yo estábamos en el mismo equipo escribiendo canciones. Este fue un asunto muy crucial.
P. ¿Qué hizo bien la relación entre ustedes tres?
JIN: Jungkook y yo llegamos al estudio de práctica el mismo día. El primer día nos sentimos un poco distantes. Nuestra relación naturalmente mejoró después de practicar y comer juntos. Mi relación con V resultó bien cuando descubrimos que a los dos nos gusta el anime.
V: Sí, fue incómodo con Jin hyung al principio. Se sintió como si Jin hyung no fuese cercano. Seguí pensando en lo que podía hacer para mejorar nuestra relación. P: ¿Hay secretos que solo los miembros conocen? ^ - ^?
RM: Hmm... creo que ya se ha revelado todo antes. ¿Como si tenemos marcas de nacimiento en el trasero? Eso lo sé... no (risas) desde que nos duchamos juntos.
J-HOPE: Nos duchamos juntos todos los días (risas). Solo hay un baño, por lo que prácticamente dos personas se ducharían juntas. A veces, incluso tres nos duchamos juntos. Realmente no hay secretos.
P: Parece que la relación dentro de BTS es muy buena. Peleas? Si es así, ¿cuál es la razón?
RM: Cosas como quién comió la comida que otra persona compró (risas).
JIN: No es realmente al grado de pelea.
RM: ¿Quién tomó prestada ropa que alguien acaba de comprar... solo pequeñas cosas como esa? El problema del préstamo de ropa ocurre ocasionalmente. Si alguien dice que realmente quiere usar esa prenda, entonces se la dejaremos prestada. Ah, pero la ropa que recibimos como obsequio de los fans definitivamente no se presta ya que es propiedad exclusiva de los miembros.
JUNGKOOK: No tengo mucha experiencia social todavía, así que cuando quiero bromear, termino diciendo algo que no debería haber dicho. Los hyungs entonces me sermonearían.
P: ¿Qué miembro se ve peor cuando duerme?
JIMIN: Creo que el # 1 es V. Duerme en la litera de arriba y parece que se va a caer. También habla dormido.

RM: También uso camisetas de gimnasia y ropa interior. Es más cómodo de esa manera. De hecho, quiero quitarme la camisa, pero mi estómago no está bien, por lo que puedo resfriarme fácilmente. JIN: The shower is first come first serve. The person who wants to shower fast has to run up the stairs! Also, when we go overseas or to person to another city, we always divide the rooms playing rock-paper-scissors or by lottery.

RAP MONSTER: Before, we had a rule that said that if you broke a rule you had to pay 1,000 wons but we kept on breaking them and the amount of money we had to pay was too much… so I abolished it with my leader privilege… (laughs).

—When you have difficult times, do you have any ways to conquer them?

Q: I see that you’re trying to balance it out. What are the other members thinking about?
Jimin: “What should I do to sing better?” That’s all I think about lately. (Q: That’s nice to hear. You guys are a hip hop group but I really like the vocalists’ tones.) Euhaha, thank you!
Q: You’ve all lost a lot of weight.
Jimin: We wanted to show a manly image.
Rap Monster: Jimin takes care of his body the most.
Jin: He only eats one meal a day.
Jimin: It was only in the past. Now I’m taking a good control.
Jin: When he was eating one meal a day, I really worried about his health and told him that he would get ill. And then he started to eat regularly so I didn’t need to worry. Then afterwards, Jungkook copied him and started to eat one meal a day. Then Jimin told Jungkook that if he continues to be on diet like that he would get ill. Haha.

Jungkook: Lunch.
Jimin: I ate between breakfast and lunch time.
Jin: From 10 months before our debut, I only ate two pieces of chicken breast a day. I tried and I was starving. So I tried to stop the dongsaengs, but they didn’t listen. I think they have to experience it themselves to understand.
V: Before debut, we all had to be on diet. When we made sandwiches to eat, we had to get rid off the all the fat/ oil, even on the tuna. (Rap Monster: It tasted so bad.) Rap Monster hyung and I were like what should we do to get out of this?
Rap Monster: How can we go to the convenience store without getting caught? Hahaha. But Jimin didn’t cheat. Because he was concerned that he looked chubby on the camera. Everyone has their own priorities, right. V and I control what we eat, but these members are doing it too much, we are like “ah… we need to eat to live so eat a little bit more.” In fact, the amount of exercise is seriously a lot even if we’re only practicing the dance choreography, so even if we eat a little bit more, we won’t put on weight.

Jin: I’m hard-working, so I’m always the first one to get up with Jimin and then wake up the rest of the members. I don’t have a good memory, but sometimes it’s a good thing. Because when I read harsh comments online, I will forget it the next day.
Ceci: What are you in charge of in the group?
Rapmon: clothing and sense of taste. Because I’m making music with the base of hip hop so our appearance is important (how we look in public is important). Before leaving our dormitory, I would give advice to the members about their styles.
Jin: Food. I like to eat, and I like to cook. Recently it was Jungkook’s birthday and I cooked seaweed soup for him. I make rice cake soup on Korean New Year’s day (Seolnal) and also on our first anniversary; we made delicious food together. I’m teaching myself to cook so I add in the ingredients that I want to put in.
Jimin: He puts in ingredients that I’ve never thought it would tastes good together. For example, he adds milk into kimchi fried rice. I was surprised that it tastes so good.
Jin: Ah, that was actually a mistake. (Laughs)
J-Hope: I’m the link (that holds the group together). Since I’m right in the middle (in order of age) so my role is a bridge between hyungs and dongsaengs.
V: Sociability. I can even bond with strangers really quickly. And Bangtan’s future (Laughs). I want to work in various areas/ fields in the future. Such as acting or entertaining (variety shows).
Ceci: What’s the advantage of men living together?
V: We are like blood brothers.
Rapmon: We can borrow and wear each others’ clothes.
Rapmon: Because J-Hope hyung and Jin hyung are neat so they’re in charge of cleaning.
Ceci: It must be fun being together.
Jimin: Maknae Jungkook is so funny in the dorm. (He lightens up the dorm)
Jungkook: I’m very active when I’m with people that I’m close to but I’m shy in front of people that I just met.
Jin: When we go to practice and then come back to the dorm, all 6 members will be lying on the floor, but there’s Jungkook, doing the laundry by himself. (Laughs)
Jimin: His physical strength is incredible.
Ceci: Do you guys bet on foods?
Jimin: When we practice dance and we get hungry so we talk about food, and then including our dance teacher, we play the ladder climbing game/ ghost leg to decide who will buy the pig’s feet.
Suga: We also have bets on ice-cream.
Jin: When we finish eating, we play rock, paper and scissors to decide which two members cleans up. The chosen members hates it so then they decide which one will clean. (Laughs) As a result, that one member will be complaining while cleaning up.
Jimin: Recently, J-Hope hyung has been cleaning up by himself.
Ceci: What was most difficult when you came up Seoul?
J-Hope: The subway route is too complicated. Our dorm is at Sinsa station, and the express bus terminal station and Sinsa station are both on line 3, but I was wandering around for an hour.
Jimin: Me too! When I first came up to Seoul, I was asking the people around me “how do you use the subway?” I didn’t even know if I need to touch the ticket machine or not.
Rapmon: People probably thought you came from Andromeda.
Jimin: There are only 5 subway lines in Busan.
J-Hope: Wow, Gwangju has only 1 line. (Laughs)
Ceci: The intense trainee life was also difficult, right? What was your driving force to endure it?
Rapmon: The eager desire to debut. The dreams of receiving rookie award and achieving no.1 in music shows, being no.1 on melon chart kept me going.
J-Hope: My friends’ support.
Jungkook: When I’m having a hard time, Jimin hyung comforted me. He also listens to my worries.
Ceci: I’m curious of Bangtan’s school days.
Rapmon: I had many friends. I was active and I liked to be eye-catching (the centre of attention) and I was the class president.
Jin: People say that I was frivolous. And my appearance has changed a lot since then. I was a short, undersized kid. I started to grow taller in 2nd grade of secondary school.
Jimin: I was the same as Rapmon hyung. I like to receive attention, and I danced on the stage during the school’s festivals. I received quite a lot of attention during secondary school. It felt amazing. (Laughs)
V: I rampaged through the corridors. I felt lonely so there were always people around me.
Suga: I was a quiet student but I really liked basketball. And whenever I played basketball, a lot of (girls) juniors would come and watch.
Jungkook: I was playful and I didn’t study. I was an active kid that loved computer games. (Laughs)

Dieting was so so that he started to cook for himself. He says that being on diet was the most difficult time after debut. They live with their manager and were strictly monitored. One day when their manager wasn’t at home, the members couldn’t endure the hungriness any more so they secretly ordered fried chicken to eat. Now, the members are taking care of their diet themselves. Perhaps you can say that it has become a habit of their daily lives to eat small portions every day and exercise every night.
> Most memorable gift received from the fans?
My room is full of Super Mario figures that the fans gave me. My mum said: “Jin-ah~ can’t you tweet something like “I don’t like Super Mario” on Twitter?” Now, there’s no space in my room to put them. (Laughs)

V: Jungkook’s sleeping habits are also bad.

JIMIN: In 2015, I want to improve my Japanese.
V: I want to sing in Tokyo Dome! Got to keep the goal big.
